Linked Sites - DellEMC
Before you get started: Make sure that you are viewing this prototype using the
Chrome browser.
Looking for the Dell prototype? This DellEMC design/prototype is meant to cross-link with this
Dell design/prototype.
OVERVIEW
Purpose: This prototype replaces traditional comps and redlines for testing purposes, and as reference for building the pages related to the Linked Sites experience. It should not be used for code reference, and is not comprehensive in terms of all states and interactions.
Additional Reference: When in doubt or in need of further clarification for how to implement a feature, see the page templates that are already in production on
DellEMC.com, or refer to the
DellEMC Foundation Web Style Guide, or reach out to one of the contacts below.
Prototype Controls: In the upper left corner of every page you will see a yellow button that is not part of the solution design. Select this button to open a drawer containing prototype controls (to change the page state, show/hide specifications, navigate within the prototype, and more).
Notations: The prototype controls on some pages enable you to show/hide notations. While notations are shown, they are transparent and you can mouse-over them to make them completely visible. For example:
Mouse-over this example notation.
